Essays should be emailed in word doc in 12 point Arial with 1.5 spacing.

DON' T EXPECT ME TO EXTEND THE DEADLINE.

WEDNESDAY

Following on from Wednesday's lesson

Please ensure that you are continuing to develop and improve your CIs and to complete the practical work on your LPs.

This week's Wednesday lesson was focussed on section A of the exam.

We explored the key concepts, wider contexts and critical debates which you need to comment upon and watched the the trailer for Battle: Los Angeles and website Military News Network

We then discussed the texts in detail and students researched before planning questions which would fit with the usual format for Section A of the exam.

HW. to complete drafting these questions and ensure that notes are consolidated on the texts studied in class. Those of you not there please make an effort to catch this up ASAP.

Homework

Homework for this week is straightforward.

Continue to rewrite CIs and to work on LP being very aware that the deadlines are fast approaching for both.

I am expecting the next draft of the CI (a significant move on from the last!!!) as soon as you can deliver but not later than the 1st of April.

LPs need detailed and committed work and first assessments of these will be the week beginning the 3rd of April when you will be given grade predictions based on what you offer.

ALSO

Those in class today, please write up notes on what we did in class today ensuring a high level of detail and post on blogs by next Wednesday with links/embedding to texts studied and questions you have written. This will provide you with useful revision materials.
