CI - Teenage Reps

Homestudy for this week.

Develop CI on an area of Teenage representation.

Examples:

Gender stereotyping in Teen Soaps
Teenage Parties on Film and TV and Social Media
Sexuality
A specific moral panic associated with Teens - pregnancy, crime, anti-social behaviour, educational underachievement - seen through movies, tv, news reports, papers and/or magazines
Teenage Tribes - through TV, music industry etc.
Teens online - social networking, documentary, papers
Teens and Religion?

You should aim for a plan of how you might approach this as an essay.
Include:

• Primary texts you would use: explain why - mention specific scenes, ideas etc. + links to Youtube etc.
• Secondary texts you would use: cross reference for the primary texts, cross platform, alternative views etc. + links to texts if online
• 
  
• A paragraph plan for your essay with topic sentences or titles for each paragraph showing how you might deal with SHEP and some research into Theory which could be applied - Hegemony, Audience theory are two examples.
• Bibliography - needn't be detailed but must show what you have researched so far.

Should be posted before next Tuesday.
