WORK

I have noticed from the blogs that only some of you have reflected on Precious and those that did only briefly.

None of you have commented on CRASH on the scenes we watched and explored any of these through developed writing on the blog. I also see no comments of analysis of the other texts we have viewed including Guess Who's Coming to Dinner and the work we did on early black Hollywood.

I am disappointed also that I haven't received everyone's first 500 words let alone their second!

ON MONDAY

I am expecting you all to have submitted at least the first 500 words and have made more developed comments on Black Hollywood.

You should be doing no less than 3 hours a week of Media and preferably 4 if you wish to improve your grades.

You will be writing an essay in class on Representations of Black Hollywood on Monday P6&7, you are therefore strongly advised to do some independent study before then and complete reflections on the texts we have already looked at.
